Integrative Thesis Research
The stem cell IGERT at Rutgers offers a comprehensive range of thesis research projects. Over thirty faculty from graduate programs in the life, physical, and engineering sciences have combined their research expertise, and thirty possible integrative research project themes have already been identified. (Additional projects will be continually considered by the Executive Committee for their strategic fit within the stem cell theme.) All research projects will be co-advised by two faculty - with appointments from different departments - to ensure cross-disciplinarity during the formulation and implementation of IGERT fellows' research programs.
